UNLIMITED VACATION DAYS?!?!
Do you currently have a vacation policy in place?
What is the general feeling at your workplace? Are employee’s encouraged to take their vacation? Do they take their allotted amount of vacation days?
A well communicated vacation policy goes along way in terms of employee retention and morale.
I’m not saying go and offer the “unlimited” vacation days, but offering say a paid birthday day off or a bonus $$ for using your vacation days will give your employees the break that they need.
