As an independent life insurance broker with Norbram Group Insurance, Dean is also the exclusive agent for the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan through the Parry Sound & Halton Hills Chambers of Commerce.
Dean started his career in the insurance business in 1988, coming to Norbram after graduating with his Honours Bachelor of Science degree. In the beginning, Dean focused on servicing the Markham Board of Trade on behalf of Norbram as well as managing two other Canada-wide association plans.
With this experience under his belt, Dean started his own firm in 1993. Highdale Insurance Brokerage focused exclusively on providing employee benefits plans to small and medium sized business. Through Highdale, Dean became a leading producer for Desjardins Financial and Manulife Financial.
Coming full circle, Dean is happy to be back at Norbram in his new role as President.
Outside of the office, Dean has served as Vice President of Big Sisters of Ontario and is a past President of the Aurora Rotary Club.
Meet Your Local Agent: Charlie Teasdale
Benefits Consultant
As a Benefits Consultant, Charlie specializes in providing customized Employee Benefits to small and medium sized businesses. He is a Chambers Plan agent in the city of Toronto and works closely with the Toronto Region Board of Trade to find benefits solutions for local businesses.
Prior to joining Norbram in 2021, Charlie worked as an Account Manager for a leading global chemical distribution firm. He also has experience in the healthcare industry working for Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada and the National Health Service (NHS) in the United Kingdom. This unique set of experiences allows him to identify the needs of businesses and apply the appropriate health benefits solutions.
Charlie holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Waterloo. He lives in Toronto with his partner.
